![]() ![]() If not, you’ll most likely want to rely on The Lament as well. Running a weapon like Legend of Acrius for the damage phase, if you have the catalyst, will be the way to go. Warlocks have similar recommendations to the Titans, with Sunbracers, Well of Radiance, and Phoenix Dive offering up all the survivability you need to be safe during the damage phase. The heavy reliance on your abilities to do the heavy lifting also means you can be a little more lax with your Special and Primary weapon slots, but you’ll still find that fusion rifles like Deliverance or trace rifles like Acasia’s Dejection will be great here. ![]() The Synthoceps build with Solar Throwing Hammers and a Tractor Cannon has been a go-to for Titans for over a year now, and that isn’t about to change with Ecthar. And once more, you should still be vulnerable from the front while reloading, couple that with how quickly most secondary guns run out of ammo, a gun and shield really aren't as game-breaking as you make it out to be.Titans have it a bit easier. As I stated before, it only covers one direction, and since enemies are often in multiple directions during assaults or defences, they can still gun you down. And once more, using a shield and pistol combo does not by any means make you invincible. For one, the shield just barely covers your body, and does almost nothing to protect people around you, and the enemies will still focus on your other unprotected allies regardless if you are drawing fire or not. I know it's to promote team-play, but being a walking piece of cover really doesn't help as much as you think. You do not get XP if people near you kill other players. there is really no need to since its there to promote teamplay. I would say adding a pistol to the mix would make it even more stronger. not to mention you are already unlikely to die if you take care to not get flanked or naded and get XP if they kill someone. LMG's can even use a shield bearer as cover to shoot behind. Originally posted by Remlly:Did you know you are already walking cover with a shield? people can litteraly sit behind you and shoot over you. And even with armor, you will still be very vulnerable from the sides and back. A shield and pistol combo would be most useful in leading a charge and drawing fire. This sort of combination would only be seen once in a blue moon, and if people are using it to snipe from far away, it's unlikely they'd find a shield useful when they are already so far away from the battle. And I've only gotten the golden deagle once out god knows many hours of gameplay. Originally posted by Satire:then people would just be running EOD armor + shield + golden deagle and sniping people from 90 meters away so if they want to add your idea then they will have to make some serious coding work to ensure that the pistol being wielded gets major accuracy debuffs Well, the pistols already aren't the most accurate weapons to begin with. ![]()
